DataCol win Metrowater Meter Reading Contract
In July 2008, DataCol were awarded their second Water Meter Reading contract in the Auckland area. By working closely with the MetroWater Billing, Business Optimisation and IT teams the DataCol fleet of meter reading services was out on the field successfully reading water meters across a wide range of sites from October 1st 2008. Following close on the August implementation for Manukau Water the implementation for MetroWater included:
- Provision of IT systems for accepting work orders, special orders, job management, scheduling, routing, resource assignment and return of meter readings along with invoicing
- Procurement of handheld devices and other field equipment
- Provision of meter reading services, reader training, dedicated support and performance reporting
All of the above, achieved Right on Time!
